Gym on King opens its doors, offering a complete package of fun, fitness, and community.
Whether its personal training, exercise classes or self-guided workouts, the newest gym Newcastle, Gym on King has it all.
“We’re an all-inclusive gym and welcome anyone who’s looking to move more and live a healthier lifestyle,” says Kate Corbett, Manager.
“We have state-of-the-art equipment, online trainer programs and our workout classes cater for all ages and fitness levels.”
Equipment available includes plates, machines, Olympic bars, and a new fitbench designed for high workout intensity and seamless exercise transitions.
A mix of group classes offer cardio and resistance training as well fitbench, yoga and mat Pilates. Personal trainers are available for those needing an extra push.
And for those who prefer to train outside, there’s a spacious outdoor area.

Technology Driven
“We use Myzone heart rate technology to display real-time results on the TVs,” says Kate. “The Myzone app tracks members’ workouts for motivation and allows trainers to offer support.”
The gym also encourages members to use the Halo Fitness app.
“The app enables members to request personalised programs from trainers or download multi-week workout plans,” says Kate.
“Members can use The Halo app to scan QR codes on cardio machines to track and save their activity.”
HEALTHY EXTRAS
For a much-deserved reward post workout the gym has a hot stone sauna, and monsoon showers with walls featuring water jets and a big shower head.
“Our facilities offer luxury wash products from Hunter Lab and MUK hair dryers and straighteners,” says Kate.
